AIRPORTS Fiji Limited fireman Anuresh Chandra took out the P Meghji sponsored Western Classic at the Nadi Airport Golf Club course on Saturday.
Anuresh was in fine form despite the wet conditions carding 71 to win the overall gross title. C grader Sunil Datt won the overall nett. Datt scored 65.
Nilesh Chand won the A Grade nett with a score of 66. Roneel Prakash was second with 70 nett while Ritesh Chandra was third with 73 nett.
Swami Vivekananda College student Shavil Prasad won the B Grade nett with a score of 69. Captain Ambika Prasad edged out YB Pillay on a countback to win the second spot after both golfers scored 74 nett.
Venayagam Pillay won the C Grade nett with a score of 75.
Shavil and Captain Ambika won the nearest to the pin prizes while Anuresh hit the longest drive.
The club will host the Islands Electric-sponsored gold medal playoffs this Saturday.
