Golf Fiji has issued a call for club nominations to fill two key positions within the 2024 Golf Fiji Committee, as confirmed by Golf Fiji president Amitesh Chandra.
“The roles include tournament controller which I am currently holding. Athlete/player rep and we are calling on anyone who has represented Fiji at the last Pacific Games or Mini Games and a women’s rep,” Chandra said.
The affiliated clubs are Nadi Airport Golf Club, Lautoka Golf Club, Ba Golf Club, Labasa Golf Club, Natadola Bay, Denarau, Pacific Harbour and Fiji Golf club.
Meanwhile, the first Golf Fiji event will be held next Saturday at the Lautoka Golf Club. The tournament will be called Islands Electric 18 holes Teams championship, entry fee and lunch paid for by Golf Fiji for each participating club. Teams to comprise of 4 A Grade player, 4 B grade players, 4 c grade players and a mixture of 4 Ladies and junior Golfers combined.
