Sefanaia Sau, a vendor selling water bottles and umbrellas, had a successful first day at the Fiji Finals, earning $600 from sales.

The 33-year-old resident of Vatuwaqa in Suva expressed his satisfaction with the profits made and the amazing atmosphere of the event.

“I had a great day of sales at the Fiji Finals, and I’m looking forward to selling more in the remaining days,” Sau said.

“The sun is scorching hot, so it’s important for everyone to stay hydrated and protected with umbrellas.”

The lively atmosphere at the event reminded Sau of his high school days.

“Being at the event brought back memories of my own high school days. Seeing the schools compete and the excitement in the air was truly amazing,” he said.

He emphasised the importance of staying hydrated in the hot weather and the necessity of umbrellas for sun protection.

“To all the athletes competing in the 2024 Coca-Cola games, I want to wish you all the best of luck. Keep pushing yourselves, and remember to stay hydrated and protected from the sun.”
