Bodybuilding competition is set to make a highly anticipated return after a four-year lap. Organised by the Fiji Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (FBFF), the event will take place at the Suva Civic Centre from 6-9pm today, and will showcase the dedication, discipline, and determination of Fiji’s top bodybuilders.
Athletes will compete for the prestigious titles of Mr and Ms Fiji across various categories, including a Masters category for veteran bodybuilders.
Ilaitia Tuinamoala, president of FBFF, noted the competition’s significance for Fiji and its passionate fanbase.
He emphasized the event’s role in promoting the sport of bodybuilding in Fiji and motivating athletes and fans to prioritise fitness and well-being.
Tuinamoala underscored the competition’s positive impact on inspiring individuals to lead healthier lifestyles and highlighted the broader goal of encouraging the community to embrace fitness and wellbeing.
He emphasized that the competition serves as a platform to promote health and fitness within Fiji.
“The event is expected to attract a diverse audience, including fitness enthusiasts, supporters, spectators, and the families of the athletes and officials,” said Tuinamola.
“It is anticipated that the competition will be an opportunity for the public to witness the impressive displays of strength and aesthetics from Fiji’s elite bodybuilders.” he added.
