BLK branch opens

BEYOND Limits Known (BLK) opened its first branch in Labasa yesterday.

BLK general manager Josefa Matau said the response from the public was well-received by the Northerners as they opened for their first day of business.

Mr Matau said this was also a way for them to contribute to the Look North Policy.

“At BLK we are all about giving equal opportunities for all rugby lovers in the country,” he said.

“This is a chance for the people from the three provinces — Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata — to have access to our services.

“Our shop has been full ever since we opened this morning (yesterday) as people have come in to see what we have to offer.”

Mr Matau, who lived in the Northern town during his school years, said he knew what it was like to live without such services so he believed this would help the people in the area.

“We understand how important rugby is to most of the people of this country and bringing BLK to the North is a much appreciated move by the people of Vanua Levu,” Mr Matau said.

“We are having our Rugby World Cup sales in all our branches.

“However, the prices in the North are further discounted because of our grand opening.

“People have been walking up to me and saying how happy they are with the shop that just opened.”
