MISS Nadi Town Council Fifita Bauleka is not letting her personal challenges and difficult moments define her as she takes on the 2026 Nadi International Airport Bula Festival stage.

She is excited to be part of this year’s carnival standing alongside nine other contestants vying for the 2026 crown.

“Like many people, I have gone through personal challenges that have tested my confidence, self-worth, and humanity,” said Ms Bauleka.

“While I am not proud of every moment during those difficult periods, I do not believe those moments define who I am.

“My decision to enter the Bula Festival was never about being a role model or proving anything to anyone, it was about finding myself again, rebuilding my confidence and giving back to my community through a cause I believe in.”

Ms Bauleka thanked her supporters and close family members for their ongoing support during this important part of her life.

Meanwhile, the final private judging of the contestants will be held today.

The event will close on Saturday with a float procession at 1.30pm and the crowning of Miss Bula 2026 at Prince Charles Park from 7pm.
