Air Terminal Services (Fiji) Pte Ltd (ATS) yesterday declared a 35 per cent dividend to its shareholders after it recorded a net profit of $11.6 million for its December 31, 2022 financial year.

According to the company the total dividend to shareholders will amount to $4.0m whereby the two groups of shareholders – government and ATS Employees Trust (AT- SET) will receive $2.1m and $1.98m, respectively.

“The recorded profits achieved last financial year were mainly driven by the robust recovery in the tourism industry, pick-up in the broader economy and effective cost control within the organisation,” said a media release from the company.

Established in 1981, ATS is jointly owned by Government of Fiji (51 per cent) and ATS Employees Trust (49 per cent).

The company shared that it recognised the need for continued investment to maintain its service excellence and cater to the evolving demands of the aviation industry.

It said it was committed to modernising its equipment and infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art catering facility to align with the growth and advancements in the sector.
