Update: 6:24PM INTERNATIONAL Primary School’s Rhys Milthope, Tatsuto Setoya, Yifan Wang and Lucas Nili displayed good sportmanship with their positive attitude despite losing out in their event at today’s Suva Zone One competition at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
The boys took part in the final of the 4x100m relay.
Congratulating each other with a few nods of the head and the tap on the back they managed to self-lift their spirits.
IPS Head coach Petero Tuisiga said coaching the boys was a blessing because they had the heart to participate and compete.
“It was not a matter of winning for them but a matter of improving and trying to get better. For a child to have such a mindset at an early age is a rare quality,” Tuisiga said.
He said the IPS quartet were full of life and positive attitude.
