Domestic carrier Fiji Link has launched a five-day domestic fare sale to celebrate Fiji Day, offering discounted one-way fares across its local network to encourage citizens to explore their country and reconnect with family across the islands.

The domestic sale began yesterday and runs until Tuesday, October 13.

Parent company Fiji Airways has also extended its Fiji Day international sale until the same Tuesday deadline.

The promotions mark a dual milestone – the nation observing its 56th Fiji Day, and the airline commemorating 75 years of connectivity since its establishment in 1951.

Fiji Airways managing director and chief executive officer Paul Scurrah said Fiji Day was a time to celebrate the people and communities that make Fiji special.

“For 75 years, Fiji Airways has been part of Fiji’s journey, and we are incredibly proud of the role our people have played in bringing Fijians closer to one another and to the world,” Mr Scurrah said.

“This Fiji Day, we want to celebrate with the people of Fiji and encourage them to take the opportunity to see more of their own beautiful country, spend time with loved ones and make new memories together.”

The promotional fares are valid for travel between October 10 and November 30 this year, covering Nadi, Suva, Labasa, Savusavu, Taveuni, and Kadavu.

The promotional fares include:
