FIJI Airways and Fiji Link flights will now resume and operate as scheduled.

Earlier this morning, the airline had issued an advisory that its flight operations to the region would be impacted due to a significant ash cloud caused by the Mount Aoba Volcanic Eruption in Vanuatu.

But after conducting safety assessments, the airline stated in the past hour that all Fiji Airways and Fiji Link flights have resumed and will operate as scheduled.

However, the airline indicated that some flights may experience slights delays or extended flight times due to longer flight paths.

Fiji Airways and Fiji Link will continue to monitor the ash cloud situation.
