The Fiji Football Association has released the names of the 25 players that will make up the Digicel Fiji under-20 women’s team.
The 25-member squad is dominated by players from Ba and Tailevu Naitasiri.
Some big names include national representatives Narieta Leba, Adi Litia Bakaniceva, Mereseini Waqali, Seruwaia Laulaba, Elesi Tabunase, Pijila Kilaiwaca and Sonia Alfred.
Fiji FA announced the names a week before they march into camp at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba.
Coached by Angeline Chua, the team begins its preparations for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in August.
Fiji earned its place in the U20 World Cup after FIFA revised the tournament format increasing the number of teams from 16 to 24.
The Fiji Kulas along with New Zealand are the representatives from the Oceania region.
