Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women’s speedster Adita Milinia could not describe how she felt playing at home for the first time in round two of Super W.

The winger is expected to make the run-on team this weekend in their second home game and double header of the season against the Western Force.

Milinia, who has three tries under her name so far this season, experienced the thrill of playing in front of a raucous home crowd for the first-time last Saturday.

“It was first time playing rugby in front of a large crowd of people. It is also my first home game with the Drua, a double header with the men,” she said.

Although there has been a lot of debate on social media regarding the number of people that stayed to watch the women play after the men, majority of the kids at Churchill Park last weekend crowded up to get a glimpse of the Drua W.

“The crowd played a huge part in our game, it gave us the strength to keep going and although the result did not go our way, we have learnt from our mistakes, and we will get better from here.”

Among the loyal crowd was her mom, who travelled from Nadroga that morning to watch her daughter play.
