THE Under-10 Suva Methodist Primary School rugby team booked their spot in the semifinals beating Marist Brothers Primary School 47-0 during the Suva Primary Schools Kaji Rugby competition today at St Marcellin Primary School grounds in Vatuwaqa.
SMPS coach Rupeni Madigi said it was a special win having lost to Marist in last year’s U9 final.
“All the praise is on the boys, they told me they would get the win and they performed above par,” Madigi said.
The team is tipped to win the U10 grade being the only team undefeated in the competition so far. Suva Primary Schools Kaji
Rugby semifinals and finals will be held on the same day next weekend at St Marcellin Primary School grounds.
