SEVENTY-year-old Amuk Prasad of Namara in Labasa took the opportunity to exercise his right to vote this morning.

Mr Prasad was one of the voters that turned up at Labasa College to cast their votes.

The former Public Works Department (PWD) employee said this year’s election process was very easy compared to previous years.

“I came in early to vote because I did not want to wait in the long line,” Mr Prasad said.

There are 1722 voters registered at the Labasa College polling venue, with 400-plus voters registered at each of the four polling stations.
