ONE of Fiji’s premier family holiday destinations is on track to ending the year on a high.

Radisson Blu Resort Fiji general manager Charles Homsy said the family getaway was one of the most well-known properties in the country.

“Radisson is a very beautiful property and it is very well-known,” he said.

“It is the number one family hotel in the country and we have some projects ongoing now in terms of kids activities, we are mainly upgrading and creating new activities for the kids.”

He said occupancy rates for the resort had been very positive so far and this trend looked to continue as the holiday season neared.

“As you know, we are practically finished with refurbishments of our rooms and I will say 75 per cent of the hotel has been completely refurbished.

“We will look forward to next year when the whole hotel is brand new and I think we’re going to have a good end of year and the first quarter seems okay so let’s hope for the best.”
