$5k each for 1700 staff

ABOUT 1700 non-management staff members of Fiji Airways received $5000 each in a bonus paid out by the company.

Finance Minister Professor Biman Prasad said the country was indebted to the airline’s employees.

He said they had proven themselves countless times with their many accolades over the years.

Nothing to do with investor

DEPUTY Prime Minister and Finance Minister Professor Biman Prasad says the FIJI Water strike has nothing to do with investor confidence.

He said the Government was confident that any employee or union issue would be resolved within the framework of the law.
