Seven hundred employees of Air Terminal Services (ATS) will each receive an ex gratia payment of $3000 following the company’s “positive balance sheet as of last year”.
The announcement was made at the company’s premises in Nadi on Thursday.
ATS board chair Shradha Sharma confirmed the company recorded an unprecedented growth in revenue, a surge of about 50 per cent in 2023 compared with the previous year.
“Our profit has increased to an all-time high of $16million,” Ms Sharma said.
“These figures are not just numbers, they represent the hard work, late nights and unwavering dedication of each member of the ATS family.
“This is in recognition of their hard work and loyalty in the year 2023 and of course, this payment will be on a pro-rata basis.
“Your tremendous hard work and sacrifice have enabled ATS to achieve the greatest financial success in our company’s history.”
