DAY one of the 2019 Coca Cola Games saw a wide distribution of medals in the boys’ division, while the girls’ division saw two all-girls schools top the tally with a few medals each.
In the boys’ division, Ratu Kadavulevu School led the tally with 1 gold medal and 1 silver.
Macuata-based Nadogo Central College is in second place with 1 gold and I bronze.
Suva Grammar School is in third place with 1 gold medal.
Also recording a gold medal win each is Tavua College, Sigatoka Methodist High School, Natabua High School and Xavier College.
Niusawa Methodist High School has 1 silver and 1 bronze under its name.
Lelean Memorial School, St Thomas High School and Labasa College each won a silver medal; and Vaturova Koroalau High School and Navatu Junior Secondary School each recorded a bronze medal win each.
In the girls’ division, Adi Cakobau School leads day one with 2 gold and 3 silver medals.
St Joseph Secondary School follows with 1 gold and 3 bronze medal.
Levuka Public School, Xavier College and Nuku Secondary School each won 1 gold medal.
Suva Grammar School is in sixth place with 2 silver medals, followed by Nasinu Secondary School and Labasa College with 1 silver medal each.
Gau Secondary School, St Johns College and Ratu Luke Memorial School have each won 1 bronze medal.
