FIJIFIRST leader Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama is leading by a clear margin with 140,631 votes as per the latest provisional results of the 2018 General Election.
Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) leader Sitiveni Rabuka trails with 65,650 votes followed by FijiFirst general secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum with 15,252.
National Federation Party (NFP) Professor Biman Prasad is at 10,461 votes while SODELPA candidate Lynda Tabuya follows with 7197 votes, the only woman candidate in the top five candidates so far.
By way of party, FijiFirst has a comfortable lead with 190,233 votes while SODELPA is at 139,130 votes.
NFP so far has 27,631 votes and Unity Fiji with 5273 votes.
The two parties with the lowest counts are Fiji Labour Party with 2408 votes and HOPE Party with 2225 votes.
Counting continues at the National Gymnasium in Suva with 1552 of 2170 polling stations processed.
