ZIKKI Raziq Shah of Nadi drives a 1995 Toyota Caldina which has a 2c diesel and 5 speed manual.
Zikki like others in Fiji is a car enthusiast who enjoys living in the moment and loves working his magic on different cars.
He said the 1995 Toyota Caldina has been with him for only a few months and he has been able to add an aftermarket exhaust to his ride.
“The car is fully body kitted with mag wheels painted to match the car. The car has LED lights inside which is connected with the sub woofer to give a cruising, thrilling mood while cruising out during the night,” Mr Shah said.
“Right now the car has not been to any type of drag race or car show.
However my upcoming plan is to either take my Caldina to a car show or to a drag race soon.
“A Toyota Caldina is an exceptional car. It has been like a dream or a goal for me to own a Caldina and I finally have.”
He said while looking for a car he came across the Toyota Caldina which has awaken his thoughts.
“One day I can launch this car to the local car shows.
“I’m a huge car enthusiast.
I have had the passion for cars ever since I was young. I have owned many vehicles in the past but in Fiji this is my best vehicle ever.
“My dream car is a Nissan Skyline GTR which isn’t really easy to own in Fiji, so I’m still happy to have been able to buy a Toyota Caldina at least.”
He said he hasn’t really faced any challenges in owning a Toyota Caldina because even a small tweak in the car he instantly fixes the problem himself.
“Finding parts for a Toyota Caldina is easy so it has never been an issue for me,” he said.
Mr Shah said the car was initially his but now its under his father’s name.
“Our family operates a business in Nadi which deals with vehicles.
Our business name is Hashmi’s Automotive & Panel Beating. We do everything and anything that relates to vehicles,” he said.
“We work on sports cars, racing cars, body kits, performance engines and many others, its where I learnt to work on cars.”
