Two Permanent Secretaries were confirmed in their positions yesterday.
The Public Service Commission announced Amenatave Yauvoli as Permanent Secretary for Civil Service and Public Enterprises, and Jone Navakamocea as Permanent Secretary for iTaukei Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts.
Their appointments came into effect from June 10, stated PSC Chairman Luke Rokovada.
Mr Rokovada further confirmed that Parmesh Chand, former Permanent Secretary for Civil Service and Public Enterprises has been re-assigned special duties.
Pita Tagicakirewa, former Permanent Secretary for iTaukei Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts has also been re-assigned special duties.
These appointments were made in consultation with the Prime Minister.
