Yasawa produced a dominant second-half display to defeat their opponents 43-15 and claim the Royal Tea Ranadi Cup title.
The final was evenly poised at halftime, with the scores locked at 10-10 after both teams traded points in a physical opening spell.
Yasawa raised the intensity after the break, taking control through strong defence and clinical finishing. The side ran in a series of tries in the second half while limiting their opponents’ scoring opportunities to pull away on the scoreboard.
Tight head prop and vice captain Tulia Ragadi credited the players for their hard work and teamwork, saying their commitment throughout the match was key to securing the victory.
“This win is a result of the hard work and team spirit shown by every player,” she said.
She also thanked the team’s supporters for standing by the girls throughout the competition.
“We are grateful to everyone who came out to support us. Their encouragement motivated us and played a big part in this victory,” she said.
