TEMAFA Yalimaiwai of Marist Brothers High School broke 26 year old open record set by Carl Probert.
Yalimaiwai set the record in the 2018 Fiji National Schools’ Swimming Championship yesterday.
Yalimaiwai broke Carl Probert’s record of 4:26.41 in the freestyle open set in 1992 with new record of 4:26.20.
He also broke Taichi Vakasama’s record of 4:31.97 which he set in 2016 in the same competition.
