A RESORT has been recognised as the world’s water sport paradise.
Namotu Island Resort in the southern Mamanucas has developed a worldwide reputation as a water sports paradise because of its stunning location, luxurious accommodation and the hotel’s wide range of activities.
After seeing the resort’s potential, Digicel Fiji has invested new high-speed Wi-Fi to boost the resort’s flexible plans and business.
Namotu Island Resort managing director Scott O’Connor said the resort played a major role by showcasing Fiji to the world. He said internet services had historically been a challenge to deliver in order to match guest expectations.
“Problems ranging from poor connectivity speeds, a lack of flexible user plans, and the technical difficulty of managing a Wi-Fi network on the resort were all causing problems,” he said.
Mr O’Connor said with the new Wi-Fi network, they would be able to improve their services.
Digicel’s ICT sales manager Ravisa Daunivuka said their goal was to reach out to their business partners.
