STAFF from Fiji’s Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Protection delivered essential supplies and clothing to vulnerable residents at the Grace Home Shelter and the Golden Age Home, with support from Mark Apparel.
Led by Acting permanent secretary Selina Kuruleca, the initiative aimed to support former street dwellers in residential care and assist a staff member affected by a fire, reinforcing the ministry’s commitment to community welfare.
In a statement the Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Protection said the donated items would benefit street dwellers who had recently been integrated into residential homes and shelters over the past few weeks, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
