WOMEN in Tech Fiji, in partnership with the Ministry for Women, Children and Social Protection, successfully hosted the Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Women Professionals event, equipping women with practical knowledge and skills to confidently use artificial intelligence in the workplace.
Facilitated by Eventuros Fiji in Nadi, the free hands-on workshop brought together women professionals from a range of industries to explore how AI can improve productivity, creativity, and everyday work processes.
Participants were introduced to key AI concepts, prompt engineering, everyday AI tools, research and knowledge management, content and presentation creation, creative AI applications, responsible AI use, and practical demonstrations designed to help them apply these tools in their own roles.
The initiative reflects a shared commitment by Women in Tech Fiji, the Ministry for Women, Children and Social Protection, and Eventuros Fiji to empower more women with the digital skills needed to thrive in an increasingly AI-driven workforce.
The event also featured the Women in Tech Fiji membership drive, encouraging more women to connect, learn and grow through a supportive network focused on technology, innovation, and professional development.
