  • A weak trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the
  • Associated cloud and showers continue to affect the eastern and northern parts of the country.
  • Meanwhile, a southeasterly wind flow prevails over the group.
  • Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group: Cloudy with some showers over coastal Serua-Namosi, greater Suva/Nausori-Tailevu, Beqa and Vatulele, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Northern division.
  • Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls possible.
  • Elsewhere, cloudy periods with possible isolated afternoon or evening
  • Cool at night.
  • Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, gusty at times.
  • Rough seas.
  • Outlook for Sunday: Expect Sea flooding of low-lying coastal areas especially during high tide over Mamanuca group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Beqa and Vatulele, Sigatoka to Coastal Serua/Namosi, Lau and Lomaiviti group.
