Update: 12:34PM FIVE Weightlifters will have to compete to qualify for the Commonwealth Games next year.
Manueli Tulo will compete at the Commonwealth and the Oceania Weightlifting, which will begin on Wednesday at Gold Coast in Australia.
Tulo first won gold at this event in 2010 and will be defending his title in the 56Kg category.
Last year, he won gold in Suva to qualify for the Rio Olympic Games in Brazil.
Also competing on the same day is Poama Qaqa in the 62Kg category.
This is Poama’s last year competing as a junior athlete and he aims to qualify for next year.
Taniela Rainibogi will compete in the 85kg while Apolonia Vavai in the 65kg.
Tulo, Apolonia and Eileen will then join Team Fiji to leave for Turkmenistan later this month to compete at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games.
