Expect rain over the next few days as a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the eastern parts of the Fiji group.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this afternoon says it is expected to affect parts of the group till later tomorrow.

Meanwhile another active trough of low pressure is anticipated to affect the country from Wednesday till the next few days.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over Kadavu, Sigatoka-Korolevu, Serua and Namosi, greater Suva/Nausori-Tailevu and Naitasiri, Lau and Lomaiviti group.

Elsewhere, some showers especially in the afternoon or evening.

Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls expected in the afternoon or evening.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.

Moderate to fresh southerly to westerly winds with moderate to rough seas.

The outlook for Wednesday, occasional showers over most places with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms likely.
