A trough of low pressure lies slow moving to the south of Fiji.
According to the weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning an associated cloud and showers affects the southern parts of the country.
Meanwhile, a moist northerly wind flow prevails over the group.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group, expect occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over Kadavu and southern Lau group.
Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms over the greater Suva/Nausori-Tailevu, interior Ra, Naitasiri and Serua, Kadavu, Northern division, Lau and rest of Lomaiviti groups.
Elsewhere, cloudy with showers especially in the afternoon or evening.
Expect isolated heavy falls, moderate northerly winds with moderate seas.
The outlook for Saturday , occasional showers and few thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls over the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, greater Nadi-Lautoka-Ba-Tavua-Rakiraki area, interior of Ba and Ra province, Greater Suva-Nausori-Tailevu area, Bua province, Lau and Lomaiviti groups and Kadavu.
Elsewhere, cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms.
