The Nasivi river in Tavua has broken banks and flood waters have started entering parts of the Tavua town.

Fiji Roads Authority says  Tavua Town is only accessible to 4 wheel drive vehicles.

Flood waters have blocked the road that runs in front of the Shop-and-Save supermarket in the last hour.

“Please stay safe and delay travel until flood water recedes,” states FRA.
