A heavy rain warning remains in force for the Eastern half and interior of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.
The warning is for areas from Tavua, through to Tailevu and Pacific Harbour and also for Lau and Lomaiviti group.
The Fiji Meteorological Service issued a heavy rain warning for the Yasawa group at 8am today.
A heavy rain alert is in force the rest of the Fiji group.
An active trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the group, said Fiji Met.
