A heavy rain alert remains in force for the whole of the Fiji group and a a flash flood alert remain in force for low lying and flash flood prone areas of Tavua through to Korovou and parts of Southern Vanua Levu.
The Fiji Meteorological Service says a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to affect Fiji.
“It is expected to affect the group till later Tuesday.”
“Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.”
“Motorist can expect poor visibility and unfavourable driving conditions on roads especially in areas of heavy falls.”
Rain will start easing from later Tuesday.
