A flash flood alert is in force for all low lying, flash flood prone areas and small streams of Vanua Levu, most parts of Viti Levu in an area from Nadi, Sigatoka, Coral Coast, Navua, Suva, Nausori, Tailevu, Rakiraki, Naitasiri and Serua-Namosi provinces.
This is due to a low pressure that lies to the West of Fiji and is approaching the group.
Associated clouds and rain is expected to affect the group for next few days.
The Fiji Meteorological Service states there will be flooding in drainage, small streams, low water bridges, iris crossings, roads and properties in low lying areas.
