Situation: A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain
lies slow moving over Fiji. It is expected to intensify from Sunday
and affect the group till early next week.
Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few squally thunderstorms over
most places. Rain becoming frequent from Sunday.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flooding of low lying areas.
Moderate northerly winds, fresh and gusty at times.
Moderate to rough seas.
Outlook for Sunday : Occasional rain, heavy at times and few
squally thunderstorms over most places.

A STRONG WIND WARNING IS NOW IN FORCE FOR ALL FIJI WATERS.
Situation:
A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow
moving over Fiji. It is expected to intensify from Sunday and affect
the group till early next week.
Forecast to 6am tomorrow for Fiji waters:
Northerly winds 20 to 25 knots, gusting to 30 knots.
Rough seas.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Further outlook: Northerly winds 20 to 25 knots. Rough seas. Winds
gusty at times.
