Water situation: Koronivia residents advised of supply disruption

WATER supply to elevated parts of Koronivia will be disrupted from tonight to allow Water Authority of Fiji workers to carry out cut-in works along the extended DN250 water main located along Kings Road in Nakasi.

Supply will be disrupted from 10pm and is expected to be restored by 6am tomorrow – Saturday, January 26.

The areas expected to be affected include:

– Kings Road from Farm Road junction to Rewa Bridge towards Nausori Town

– Waidamudamu Settlement

– FNU Lab Road

– FNU School and Quarters

– Koronivia Research Station

– Koronivia Road

– Dalip Street

– Davuilevu Youth Program Development (YPD).

Residents in those areas are advised to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

Water carting trucks will also be on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.
