THE Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) is advising its customers living in the following parts of Koronivia that water supply will be interrupted from 9pm tonight (July 1, 2019) to 7am Tuesday morning (02/07).
The authority said the interruption in supply would allow WAF crew members to carry out cut-in works, as well as to commission the new 250mm and 375mm pipeline at Davuilevu along the Kings Road.
During the disruption period, WAF crew members will also carry out transfers of all service connections to the newly-commissioned mainline.
The works are part of the ongoing four lane project by the Fiji Roads Authority.
Areas expected to be affected are:
· Part of Kings Road
· Farm Road – 10 miles, and
· Waidamudamu Settlement.
Residents in those areas are advised to to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water supply is expected to be gradually normalised by 7am on Tuesday (02/07).
