Warwick Holdings (Fiji) Ltd has extended the closing date of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) by two weeks, giving investors additional time to participate ahead of its planned listing on the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX).
The company announced today that the offer, originally scheduled to close on November 6, will now remain open until the close of business on November 20, 2026.
According to a media release, the extension was agreed between Warwick Holdings and Metro Commerce Development (Fiji) Pte Ltd, the vendor of the shares being offered.
The decision follows requests from several institutional investors seeking more time to complete their internal investment approval processes.
The company said the extension was intended to encourage the broadest possible participation in the offer ahead of its listing.
Warwick Holdings expects to list on the SPX approximately two weeks after the revised closing date, subject to regulatory approval and completion of listing requirements.
The final listing date will be announced once confirmed.
The IPO involves the sale of up to 47,628,299 ordinary shares by existing shareholder Metro Commerce, representing 20 per cent of Warwick Holdings’ issued share capital.
The offer allows institutional and retail investors to acquire an ownership interest in the hospitality investment and management company.
Warwick Holdings’ principal asset is its ownership interest in the 250-room Warwick Fiji Resort on the Coral Coast.
The company also has management arrangements covering several other properties within the Warwick group, including Naviti Resort, Tokatoka Resort, Tambua Sands Beach Resort and Warwick Le Lagon Resort in Vanuatu.
Its portfolio is expected to expand through proposed management arrangements for the Golden Tokatoka and Silver Crescent resorts.
Warwick Holdings is associated with Warwick Hotels and Resorts, an international hospitality group established in 1980.
The company confirmed that all other terms and conditions of the IPO remain unchanged, subject to formal documentation relating to the extension.
The prospectus and application forms are available through offer manager Kontiki Capital and licensed stockbroking firms.
