THE topline Warriors dominated most parts of their clash against the Nadera Panthers last Saturday and emerged victorious by 22-16.
Topline Warriors manager Frank Koroi confirmed he was confident his team would win.
He said they had prepared well throughout the week.
Areas they had worked on were their defence and attack.
Koroi further indicated that, despite having no permanent ground to train on, they always try to make the best use of available grounds they find.
He said this had helped out a lot in term of game performance.
He further stated that while improvements had been observed in their game performance, they still needed to work more on their defence.
“This is the most important area,” he said.
“Some core players who made a difference last Saturday were the likes of Kelepi Komai, Tevita Badogo, Sitiveni Vasuturaga and Lambert Kuruvoli.
Furthermore, the Topline Warriors had improved vastly in terms of performance compared to last year.
This is evident from the number of wins this year as opposed with last year.
Koroi also confirmed that the Topline Warriors team looks forward to and is confident that they will do well in the eliminations, and also further progress through to the finals.
