FULLBACK Waisake Raselala booted 12 points for Wardens to help them survive another week unbeaten in the Suva Rugby Union CBS Power Solutions Challenge Cup in the Escott Shield competition at Bidesi Grounds in Suva on Saturday.
The side defeated Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Boys 22-7.
Wardens without their star players former Fiji 7s playmaker Joji Ragamate, Niko Verekauta and halfback Kelepi Namoua managed to pull off another win.
Ragamate was with Suva team while Verekauta was injured and Namoua was sick.
Manager Semesa Vakacabeqoli was disappointed with the players.
“We still had a lot of individual play in the team which can cost us dearly in future,” he said.
“All the teams are coming prepared and they always pose a threat to us so we have to be on our best of the game.
“We have a good game plan but when we opt to play individually then that is the time we fumble.”
Wardens scored their tries through Raselala, flanker Joshua Kuruvili and first five-eighth Sakiusa Malai.
The side enjoyed a 15-7 lead at the breather.
“We will soon have a the services of Namoua from Monday together with Verekauta,” he added.
“RKS tested us and I am happy we managed to survive unbeaten for another week.”
