Jerry Tuwai’s FDS Barbarians have secured a place in the semi-final match of the Fiji Bitter Wairiki Sevens after defeating Taveuni First Light Inn by 12-7 in the first Cup quarter final round.
The Barbarians will play against the Blue Gas Police Blue that has defeated Ram Sami Army Green by 14-10 in the second Cup quarter final round.
Currently, the two home teams – Hydro Taveuni Lavena and Raiwasa Resort Taveuni – are squabbling for a spot in the semi final.
Raiwasa is leading Lavena Reds 12-5.
