The tides turned in favour of Pernix Vuda yesterday as they powered their way to a double victory, winning both the Business House category and being crowned overall champions of the 2025 Simple Green Business House Regatta Series at the Wailoaloa beach in Nadi.
Pernix Vuda stood tall, not only clinching the series title but also smashing records along the way. They recorded the fastest time in the Cup Final, clocking an impressive 1 minute 11.49 seconds, and had earlier set the pace in Business House 01 with 1:14.06 during their Heat two run.
Second place overall went to FJ Virtus who showed consistency throughout the series. Team Vaka Mana representing ANZ Suva rounded off the podium in third place.
Tournament Coordinator Daryl Sakopo expressed his admiration for Pernix’s performance, highlighting a unique element of their success.
“Pernix Vuda was the only overall winning team that does not have an active club member.,” Sakopo said.
