Update: 2:03PM MISS Fiji representative to the Miss World Pageant in China, Brittany Hazelman is ranked in the top 50 in the People’s Choice category.

pageant director, Andhy Blake says Ms Hazelman impressed the judges during the National Costume and Dances
of the World judging yesterday.
“The costume featured on the official Miss World
website including and the Times of India for its uniqueness and beauty. Fiji is
famed for our costumes at Miss World – we won in 2012, placed in the top 10
last year and grateful for the recognition this year,” Mr Blake said.
He says Miss Fiji auditions for Talent and Top Model
next, before competing in Sports and Beauty with a Purpose.
“I am excited about Fiji’s placements this year and I
think she is the best delegate we have sent to the Miss World stage to date.”
To vote for Miss Fiji for the People’s Choice
category, you need to download the Miss World Apps for free from Google
Play or Apple Store, select Fiji in the contestant’s panel and vote.
Describing the voting, the Miss
World organisation says, “Once again the Miss World App remains the only place
to have your say. Pick your top three via the voting panel on the Miss World
app and your votes will decide who will be the People’s Choice Award winner at
the Miss World Final.
“We want everyone to play a part in the crowning of Miss World
2015, so show your support and get voting. In-app subscribers get an additional
vote. Voting begins on Friday, November 20 and will be available until
Saturday, December 19, with the lines officially closing at 21.30 local time
(13.30 GMT). No votes cast after this time will be counted towards the People’s
Choice Award.”
Ms Hazelman has travelled to China, along with more than 110
contestants from all over the globe, for the Miss World event, which will
culminate in the final event on December 19 at the Beauty Crown Grand
Theatre in Sanya.
