THE vision for Lautoka City is to be the best in sports tourism, says council CEO Mohammed Anees Khan.
Mr Khan made the remark on Thursday at the Lautoka Special School of Education, adding that Churchill Park is now the home ground of the Fijian Drua.
“Last week we defeated the table toppers, the Chiefs,” he said.
“And we’ve beaten the Crusaders twice here.”
Mr Khan said a visit to Churchill Park would show the many good changes that have been made there.
“We need to increase our facilities with the growth of the nation to cater for that demand.
“And this is the vision I share with my management and the council.”
