ONE of Fiji’s three delegates to the World Supermodel Pageant South Pacific 2016, Vasiti Radekedeke, will take inspiration from her fashion role model Tyra Banks and hopes that she gets a chance to represent the South Pacific at the international finals.
The 25-year-old shared Tyra Banks was her model because not only was she a fighter and a hard worker, but an inspiration for young women to set their dreams and worked towards it.
Miss Radekedeke, a student and part-time telecommunications worker, said having the chance to represent the South Pacific would be a privilege adding that she would represent the different cultures from the Pacific on an international stage and showcase her talents.
The World Supermodel Pageant South Pacific 2016 is the latest stage she will take having already modelled for three years and she had advice for those looking to follow the same path.
“My advice is anything is possible when you put your faith and action in it. No dream is never too big and regardless of what people say keep working hard,” Miss Radekedeke said.
“I believe I would make the perfect delegate to represent the South Pacific because I have the attributes of every Pacific Island woman — self confidence, respect and humility.”
The former Miss Hibiscus and Miss World Fiji contestant said being healthy was important for her, saying that meant looking after your body, mind and spirit.
