THE Vanua Cup and Royal Tea Ranadi championship gets underway, with teams from across the country set to begin their quest for this year’s title.
After weeks of preparation, clubs will be looking to make a strong start as they take to the field for the opening round of the competition. With every team beginning on equal footing, the first round presents an opportunity to build confidence and gain early momentum.
The tournament is expected to provide another platform for clubs to showcase their talent while giving emerging players the chance to compete alongside experienced campaigners.
Round one fixtures for the Vanua Cup, all U20 matches are at 1pm and the Senior teams at 3pm. Bua v Macuata at Bua college, Yasawa v Vatukoula at Churchill Park, Northland v Ra at Ratu Cakobau Park ground 2, Coastland v Northern Bulls at Narauyaba sports ground, Nasinu v Ovalau at Buckhurst Park, Namosi v Serua Thompson park.

Bua v Taveuni at Bua College, Yasawa v Vatukoula at Churchill Park, Northland v Ra at Ratu Cakobau Park ground 2, Coastland v Northern Bulls at Narauyaba sports ground, Navosa v Ovalau at Buckhurst Park, Malolo v Serua at uprising grounds.
