A vacant four-bedroom house was destroyed in an early morning fire along the Kings Road, opposite Tavua College, on Sunday, November 2.
The National Fire Authority received an emergency call at 5.56am, dispatching five firefighters who arrived two minutes later to find the building fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews successfully contained and extinguished the blaze, but the structure sustained 100 per cent damage.
The property had reportedly been vacant for several years, with its owner believed to have migrated to New Zealand more than 30 years ago. The building was uninsured.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, with investigations to be conducted by the NFA.
