USP ranked fourth in MBA category

The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) School of Business and Management (SBM) reached a significant milestone as it ranked fourth in the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) category in Oceania by the Eduniversal Ranking 2024 Best Masters.

In a statement by USP, the Eduniversal Best Masters ranking evaluates masters and MBA programs globally and stands as the sole platform assessing individual master courses across 56 diverse fields of study worldwide.

USP is the only other university alongside the University of Hawai’i at Manao, the University of Otago in New Zealand, and seven others from Australia that ranked in the top 10 – 2024 Eduniversal best masters ranking for MBA in Oceania.

University SBM head Professor Gurmeet Singh said the ranking was profoundly significant for USP, affirming the university’s strong position in the Oceania educational landscape.

The university also scored in the top 10 Eduniversal Best Masters Rankings in Oceania in three other master’s programs which included master of commerce in management and public administration was ranked seventh, ninth in the master of science in climate change and ranked 10th in the master of business administration (Full-time).

USP vice-chancellor and president Professor Pal Ahluwalia expressed his gratitude to the hardworking staff members of SBM and the MBA program for their dedication and commitment to maintaining the high standard of delivering the internationally accredited MBA program.

“USP has become and will continue to be an institution that works towards meeting the evolving development and educational needs of the Pacific and its people,” Prof Ahluwalia said.

The achievement also confirms the university’s commitment to excellence and to continue providing transformative education recognised regionally and globally.
