INDIVIDUALS or companies found damaging Telecom Fiji Ltd’s fibre infrastructure can face fines of up to $300,000.

Fiji’s leading information communications technology provider made the call after a number of individuals and companies repeatedly damaged its fibre infrastructure while engaging in construction work in highways and main roads.

TFL’s chief executive officer Charles Goundar said it was important to provide Fijians with best internet services but disappointing on how some have reacted.
