An innovative online chat forum for potential and current students and stakeholders for University of Fiji will be launched next week.
According to a UniFiji statement this morning the chat platform will enable the University to meet and converse online with people from wherever they are situated.
“Any members of the public who visit the University website will be able to connect with staff who will respond to their queries or observations,” the statement said.
“The University is introducing this platform with the specific intention to provide guidance and advice to its potential students.”
The Registrar of the University, Karishma Mani, confirmed that all enquiries would be received by the responsible personnel at the University and responses would be provided in a timely manner.
“I am excited to connect with our potential students and share with them the opportunities that are available for them at the people’s university in carving their career pathways,” she said.
The platform will be open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.
According to 99 Firms website, 79 percent of consumers prefer live chat because they offer instant responses. Live chats have the highest consumer satisfaction rate at 92 percent.
The University of Fiji will launch its platform on November 17, 2020 to enable students from everywhere in Fiji to contact its staff to have their questions answered.
